From Wrigley

It’s now been 100 years since the last World Series ring was placed on the finger of a CURRENT Cubs player.  Sure, many have come and gone that went on to claim that honor, but not while they have been a Cub.  And thats a dog gone shame, considering the likes of some of the people to call the Friendly Confines home.  Men like Ron Santo, Ernie Banks, Andre Dawson, Ryne Sandberg, Billy Williams, and Fergie Jenkins played here for years without earning that honor.

Maybe this year though.  Maybe we won’t have to wait until next year to see it happen.  We at FromWrigley.com sincerely hope that is the case and think that at least as this season gets underway, that there is a chance for it to happen.
